What you’ll do

Help keep Believe Housing properties safe, tidy and well maintained by delivering high-quality gardening and grounds maintenance services across a range of residential sites.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a supportive maintenance team, using your practical skills to create outdoor spaces that residents can enjoy while providing friendly, customer‑focused service.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact through the following tasks:

- Carrying out gardening and grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, weeding, planting, mulching and irrigation maintenance.
- Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and power tools safely while completing work to a high standard.
- Completing minor property maintenance tasks, reporting maintenance issues and maintaining accurate records.
- Building positive relationships with residents by delivering responsive, respectful and customer‑focused service.
- Following safe work practices and contributing to a positive workplace safety culture.

What you’ll bring

To Thrive In This Role, You Will Have

- Experience in gardening, grounds maintenance, landscaping or a similar outdoor maintenance role.
- Confidence using gardening equipment, power tools and machinery safely.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of work.
- A customer‑focused approach with good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
- A current driver’s licence and the ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work.

We Would Also Love You To Have

- Experience maintaining residential or community housing properties.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, weed control and basic horticultural practices.




- Basic computer skills to complete records and report maintenance issues.
- A horticulture, landscaping or related qualification (desirable but not essential).
