Trustees exists to give Victorians confidence that their financial and legal affairs are in good order. As Victoria’s largest provider of Financial Administration services for people living with disability, the organisation supports approximately 9,000 Victorians who require assistance managing their financial affairs. At the heart of this work is a commitment to protecting the rights, dignity and autonomy of some of the community’s most vulnerable people.

An exceptional opportunity, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, now exists for a strategic and purpose-driven leader to join the Executive Team to lead the Financial Administration business unit. Based in Footscray this role will lead a significant part of the business, comprising seven direct reports and approximately 180 team members across Footscray, Bendigo and Dandenong. The Opportunity

Trustees has undertaken significant transformation in recent years and is now entering the next phase of its evolution. The incoming leader will have the prospect to work on the overall business strategy with the Executive Team and develop a future-focused three-year business plan for the function, which would include modernising the service model, enhancing productivity and risk management, strengthening collaboration across the enterprise and embedding contemporary, client-centred ways of working. You will lead a complex service delivery environment that combines high-volume operations, specialist case management and sensitive client interactions.

Success will require balancing compassion and client advocacy with operational rigour, commercial discipline and transformational leadership.

You





You are an accomplished executive with a track record of leading large-scale service delivery, operations, transformation or customer-centric functions within complex and highly regulated environments. You may come from sectors such as health, disability services, insurance, financial services, superannuation, government, legal services, essential services or other purpose-led organisations. Direct disability experience is valued but not essential; what matters most is your ability to lead with empathy, navigate complexity and deliver sustainable transformation.

You will bring:

Executive leadership experience in complex service delivery environments.

Demonstrated enterprise-wide thinking and capability building.

Proven success leading transformation, cultural change and operating model redesign.

Strong strategic planning and execution capability.

The ability to harness data, technology and digital solutions to improve outcomes.

Commercial and financial acumen in resource-constrained environments.
