Pay Rate: $800 - $1,500 per day + super (depending on experience)
A NSW Government organisation delivering the state's Renewable Energy Zones is seeking an experienced Generator Integration Manager to lead relationships with approved Access Right Holders (Generators) in the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ). This is a high-impact role at the centre of one of NSW's flagship energy infrastructure programs, working across government, industry and network stakeholders to connect generation projects into the grid.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and own the relationship with each of the approved Access Right Holders (Generators) in the CWO REZ, resolving commercial and operational challenges while fostering strong partnerships
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of agreements to ensure approved Generators meet their contractual obligations, monitoring progress and leading change management processes
- Facilitate effective communication between Generators, EnergyCo, the Network Operator (ACEREZ) and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues,
disputes and coordination requirements
- Navigate complex coordination across a diverse portfolio of projects and stakeholders within a dynamic and evolving renewable energy sector
- Ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements and contractual obligations
- Manage the interests and expectations of government bodies, renewable energy developers, the network operator and local communities
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience within the renewable energy sector, including extensive knowledge of connecting renewable energy assets (wind, solar and/or BESS)
- Demonstrated experience in the successful development, delivery and commissioning of renewable energy projects (wind, solar, BESS and/or hydro)
- Deep understanding of the technical, regulatory and commercial requirements associated with connecting renewable energy assets within the Australian market
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes through exceptional engagement and communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Environmental Science, Business or Law)
