We are looking to bring on a motivated and hands-on Geotechnical Engineer with 2 years of experience to join our talented team in North QLD. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a supportive setting, working on meaningful infrastructure, transmission and renewable energy projects that help you develop into a well-rounded Geotechnical Engineer. This role can be placed in any of the CMW Geosciences North QLD office locations.
Responsibilities
Work with the technical team to develop technical solutions using an understanding of engineering and geological principles based on experience gained.
Undertake technical and non-technical tasks at the direction of senior professional personnel with support and training when required. Carry our fieldwork, data collection/processing and design and reporting. Work at the direction of senior technical staff to support in progressing all aspects of project delivery.
What You'll Need A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree A minimum of 2 years of experience e.g. as part of a consultancy / geotechnical consultancy.
Onsite experience
Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing A full Australian drivers license
Good interpersonal skills
Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
