About the Senior Diesel Mechanic position
- Requirements: Qualified diesel mechanic with significant hands-on experience servicing heavy vehicles and refrigeration systems in a senior capacity.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles such as prime movers, rigid trucks, refrigerated trailers, plus various yard machinery.
- Perform detailed fault diagnosis involving braking, suspension, tyres, and refrigeration equipment.
- Carry out statutory roadworthy checks to comply with safety regulations.
- Manage refrigeration unit repairs and routine servicing, with training provided for specific refrigeration brands.
- Maintain accurate service and job documentation.
- Liaise with refrigeration and workshop leadership to optimise workflow and maintain service standards.
