We are supporting a hospitality group (SXW Pty Ltd) based in Darwin that operates across several popular venues, specialising in Aussie-Italian and Aussie-Filipino fusion cuisine. The Pastrycook is responsible for baking and decorating pastries, cakes, and desserts that align with our menu and visual presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a range of desserts, tarts, and cakes.
- Decorate and plate desserts attractively and consistently.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety in the pastry section.
- Assist in developing and testing new recipes.

Requirements

- Certificate III in Patisserie or Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
- Previous pastry/baking experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Creativity, precision, and understanding of HACCP.
