Job Description
Build your paediatric Occupational Therapy career in their Townsville clinic. You willl join a passionate multidisciplinary allied health team, providing clinical leadership and support to clinicians while working alongside experienced professionals across the service.

This role offers the chance to lead paediatric OT service delivery, provide mentoring and guidance, and support the ongoing growth of evidence-based practice. They are flexible on what this role looks like for the right candidate, with full-time or part-time options available on either a permanent basis or a fixed-term contract. You will manage complex cases, collaborate with families, schools, allied health teams and community stakeholders, and help shape positive outcomes for children and their families. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting quality paediatric services across Townsville and surrounding communities through regular outreach travel.
- Deliver advanced paediatric Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions
- Support children and families to achieve meaningful goals
- Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision to clinicians
- Guide complex cases and promote best practice care
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and governance
- Provide outreach services across regional and remote communities, travelling by fleet vehicle or small aircraft as required, with travel, accommodation and meals covered by the organisation
About the Candidate
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Paediatric Occupational Therapy experience
- Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence and work rights
Work Environment
Competitive salary of $105,893 to $111,161 + Super (pro-rata for part-time)
based on experience
