We're currently recruiting for a Quality Associate to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Western Sydney. This is a hands-on 6-month contract role working within a regulated environment, supporting quality operations, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on incoming materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications
- Manage non-conforming materials (NCRs), including documentation, segregation, and disposition
- Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities and ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and TGA standards
- Handle customer complaints and returns (RMA process)
- Maintain accurate quality records, reporting metrics, and audit documentation
- Coordinate MRB (Material Review Board) activities and ERP inventory movements
- Assist with supplier quality issues, investigations, and CAPA processes
- Train staff on SOPs and quality procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- 3-5 years' experience in a Quality / QA role within manufacturing
- Experience working in a regulated environment (medical devices, pharma, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and ISO standards
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use inspection tools
- High attention to detail with solid problem-solving skills
- A confident communicator able to work cross-functionally
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Engineering or similar (Bachelor's in a technical field preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office and quality systems
- Full working rights in Australia
