Employment Type: Full Time Exempt for a period up to February 2027

Remuneration : Salary relative to experience and ranges from $153,599.00 to $182,954.00 per annum plus 12% superannuation

Location: Preferred location either St Leonards or Charlestown, however other NSW Health locations can be considered – flexible hybrid working, with regular scheduled time in the office each week

About the opportunity

Are you passionate about creating a more sustainable future and driving meaningful change at scale? HealthShare NSW is seeking an experienced and innovative Sustainability Lead to champion environmental sustainability initiatives across one of Australia’s largest public health support organisations.

In this influential leadership role, you will shape and drive the organisation’s sustainability strategy, leading projects that deliver tangible environmental outcomes while supporting NSW Health’s broader sustainability ambitions. You will work closely with senior leaders, business units, and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, implement strategic initiatives, and embed sustainable practices across the organisation.

As the Sustainability Lead, you will combine strategic thinking with hand‑on delivery, using data and insights to inform decision‑making, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement. You will lead a high‑performing team, foster a culture of innovation and accountability, and provide expert advice on emerging sustainability trends, risks, opportunities,



and compliance requirements.
