Who are we looking for? We are seeking a Graduate Programs Recruitment and Alumni Engagement Manager to join QUT Graduate School of Business, Faculty of Business and Law.
The Graduate Programs
Recruitment and Alumni Engagement Manager is a senior specialist role responsible for leading the strategy, planning and delivery of student recruitment, growth and engagement across the Faculty of Business and Law’s postgraduate coursework portfolio, with particular focus on the Executive MBA (EMBA) and other strategically important postgraduate programs. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, exercising independent judgement and initiative in shaping recruitment strategy and priorities. The role leads the development and execution of prospective student pipeline strategy, cultivates senior-level relationships with industry and employer networks, and drives targeted recruitment and engagement initiatives aligned with Faculty priorities.
The position provides expert advice and strategic input to academic leadership, including the Associate Dean (Education), Associate Dean (Engagement and International), Partnerships and Engagement Manager, Director Curriculum and Academic Programs, relevant Course Coordinators and the MBA Director, and partners closely with the university Marketing team and Faculty teams to shape a coordinated, high-quality approach to recruitment. What You Need To Succeed
Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications with demonstrated experience in student recruitment, admissions or business development (including pipeline management and conversion activity), preferably within a higher education or executive education environment.
Proven ability to plan and deliver recruitment and engagement activities (e.g. events and outreach) effectively managing priorities, timelines, stakeholders and budgets to achieve high-quality outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders (internal teams, prospective students, alumni and industry partners) to deliver coordinated recruitment outcomes.
Demonstrated high-level client service capability, including the ability to manage complex enquiries, deliver persuasive content, and present effectively to wide-ranging audiences.
Demonstrated ability to analyse recruitment data (including pipeline and conversion metrics), generate insights, report on performance, and implement improvements to enhance outcomes.
Demonstrated digital capability, including experience using CRM and/or student management systems to manage enquiry-to-enrolment processes, alongside the ability to apply policies, maintain accurate records, and produce high-quality documentation using Microsoft Office/365 tools.
