Casual/Vacation, commence October - December

Riverina Oils produce refined vegetable oils and vegetable protein meal for poultry, dairy and animal feed industries at our plant located in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

As the harvest season approaches, we are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Harvest Casuals. Positions will begin mid-October, before the harvest season starts, where you will receive on-the-job training and support.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the agricultural industry.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Being first point of contact for growers and truck drivers.

· Obtain and test seed samples.

· Monitor flow of grain:

o from unloading o onto equipment, and o into storage.

· Ensure clean work areas (sweeping, shovelling and blowing dust)

· Protect and cover seed in the bunker storage area using tarps.

· Operating seed receival equipment.

· Enter data into systems as per compliance requirements.

Desirables:

· Previous harvest or bunker experience

· Background in labouring work, agriculture, trades and logistics

Working conditions:

· Must be able to work in various environments, including working at heights, on flooring with see through floors, walking on even and uneven floors, slippery floors and outdoor slopes.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 15kgs.





· Exposure to occasional atmospheric dust and frequent exposure to the smell of Canola through various stages of processing.

To be considered, you will need to:

· Be available to commence work with us from mid-October 2026.

· Be at least 18 years old.

· Be an Australian citizen or hold a valid work visa and provide proof of your right to work.

· Be fit, capable and willing to work in an outdoor environment.

· Be prepared to work on all or any days of the week.
