Robert Half Executive Search has been exclusively retained to identify a Head of Marketing for a rapidly growing, award-winning Australian business based in North Sydney.

This newly created leadership role represents an exceptional opportunity to build, shape and lead the marketing function within a business that has achieved sustained double-digit growth and is entering its next phase of expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation's marketing strategy, driving commercial outcomes and establishing the foundations required to support scalable growth.

The role offers the opportunity to lead and influence teams across Australia, China and India, making it ideally suited to a marketing leader who thrives in multicultural and internationally connected environments.

With responsibility for customer acquisition, brand, digital marketing, communications and marketing operations, you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will also drive improvements in marketing performance, reporting, process optimisation and the use of emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools to maximise effectiveness and return on investment.

This role will suit a commercially minded and hands-on marketing leader who enjoys building capability, driving change and creating structure within a growing organisation. The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with operational execution and will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where they can genuinely influence outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the organisation's marketing strategy.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention and growth initiatives.
- Take ownership of marketing ROI, performance metrics and reporting.
- Lead and develop international marketing teams.
- Establish scalable marketing systems, processes and operating procedures.




- Optimise digital marketing performance across multiple channels.
- Oversee brand, content, communications and customer engagement activities.
- Leverage AI and automation technologies to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Partner closely with founders and senior stakeholders to support business growth objectives.

Ideal Background To be successful in this role, you will bring extensive marketing leadership experience together with a strong track record of driving measurable commercial outcomes. You will possess deep expertise across digital and performance marketing, customer acquisition and marketing analytics, combined with the ability to lead teams and build scalable marketing functions.

Experience within subscription-based, recurring revenue, technology, telecommunications, SaaS or high-growth environments will be highly regarded. Exposure to multicultural teams and international stakeholder groups will also be advantageous.

Experience working across Australian and Asia-Pacific markets, together with additional language capability such as Mandarin or Cantonese, will be viewed favourably but is not essential.
