- Design and implement engaging nutrition education and healthy eating programs for community members of all ages
- Coordinate and facilitate group workshops, cooking classes, and other interactive nutrition-focused activities
- Provide one‑on‑one nutrition counselling and support to individuals and families
- Collaborate with local health services, schools, and community organisations to promote healthy lifestyles
- Develop and distribute nutrition‑related resources, such as informational materials and recipe books
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of health promotion programs, reporting on outcomes and making recommendations for improvement
- Contribute to the overall health and wellbeing strategy of Nindilingarri Cultural Health Services
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualification in nutrition, dietetics, health promotion, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in health promotion, community engagement, or delivering nutrition‑focused programs
- Strong understanding of nutrition, dietary guidelines, and the social determinants of health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse community groups
- Experience in programme planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Demonstrated commitment to improving health outcomes and empowering communities
- Familiarity with the local Fitzroy Crossing community and cultural context is highly desirable
