You’ll join a team leading the evolution of higher education through student-centred learning, AI-enabled teaching, digital innovation, and contemporary learning design. Why this role? About the role As a Teaching Fellow (Health Science), you’ll join the School of Health Science and Clinical Practice, where you’ll deliver engaging learning experiences across the Diploma and Bachelor of Health Science programs delivering engaging learning experiences in subjects such as Understanding Health,



Disease Prevention, Human Structure & Physiology 1 & 2. You’ll combine outstanding teaching practice with digital capability, learning design and innovation to create learning experiences that are flexible, engaging and centred around student success. What you’ll be doing - Review for full details

- Embrace innovation: you’re curious about new technologies, confident experimenting with AI and digital tools, and willing to rethink traditional approaches to teaching.
- Use evidence to improve: you seek feedback, use learning analytics and continuously refine your teaching based on what works.
- Collaborate: you enjoy working with colleagues across disciplines to improve learning, share ideas, and solve challenges together.
- Thrive in change: you’re adaptable, resilient, and excited by working in a dynamic, digitally evolving higher education environment.

Additional

Details - Two full-time permanent positions: one based at our Flinders Street Campus in Melbourne and one at our Surry Hills Campus in Sydney.

- Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days on campus and 2 days online (negotiable)



What you’ll bring - MSc, PhD, or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in the healthcare sector, with the ability to apply industry knowledge to teaching and student learning.
- Strong facilitation skills across online and face-to-face learning environments.
- Experience using learning technologies and digital tools to enhance teaching.
- Confidence using, or enthusiasm for adopting, AI-enabled approaches in education.
- Experience designing engaging learning and assessment activities.
- A student-centred approach to teaching and learning.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A growth mindset and commitment to continuous skilled learning.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards completion).
