About the role
Touch Football Victoria (TFV) is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic volunteer intern to join our team and support the delivery of our competitions and events program. This is a genuine, hands-on role that gives you real exposure to sport administration - not just making coffees.
What You'll Be Doing
- Attending VT League Sunday fixtures to assist with on-the-day operations and logistics
- Tracking player eligibility and monitoring games played to ensure finals compliance
- Managing competition records, match statistics, and try scorer data
- Following up on outstanding match items and preparing for the week ahead each Monday
- Liaising with team managers and officials to keep competitions running smoothly
- Providing admin support for our Social Competitions including registration, division management, and participant communications
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of the TFV Junior State Cup in December
What We're Looking For
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach
- Ability to stay calm and solutions-focused on busy competition days
- A genuine interest in community sport and events
- Familiarity with Touch Football or similar sport environments is a bonus, as is study in Sport Management, Recreation, or Business

Commitment
Core days: Sundays (VT League competition days) and Mondays (office-based at Seabrook Reserve, Broadmeadows). Additional days may be required around peak event periods, particularly in the lead-up to the Junior State Cup in December. We'll work flexibly with you where we can.
Duration: September - December 2026
Travel: Travel expenses incurred on event days will be reimbursed.
