We are seeking a HR Advisor to support our long-standing mining contracts in Central QLD.

About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Advisor to join our team. This role will primarily be supporting our Goonyella and Blackwater operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue standard employee correspondence
- Supporting our project and office teams with a range of HR activities that fall within the employee life cycle, such as onboarding, investigation and disciplinary processes, talent & succession processes, maintaining HR records and databases and setting up and maintaining reporting dashboards for our leaders
- Working closely with the Senior HR Advisor on culture initiatives for our projects
- Providing accurate and pragmatic HR advice across employee relations, workforce planning, culture and compliance
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a quick paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Please note: this role will require regular site travel.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable)
- 3 years’ experience in a HR Advisor role
- Experience using HR systems such as SAP
- Computer literacy is essential, including the Microsoft package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to plan, organise and resource effectively
- High level of initiative and the ability to influence outcomes through others
