We're looking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our Ground Engineering team. This is a hands-on operational role supporting project teams to ensure safety, environmental and quality requirements are embedded into day-to-day project delivery.

The position can be based in our Sydney office or on project, with regular travel to project sites across Australia.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager – Ground Engineering, you'll work closely with supervisors, project managers and operational teams, providing practical HSEQ support throughout all stages of project delivery.

You'll play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, client standards and Geovert's management systems across multiple active projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day HSEQ support across active project sites.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and field observations.
- Assist supervisors with risk assessments, SWMS reviews and work planning.
- Support the implementation of environmental management plans and project requirements.
- Monitor compliance with legislative obligations, client requirements and Geovert management systems.
- Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Deliver toolbox talks, coaching and practical guidance to operational teams.




- Foster a positive safety culture through visible leadership and engagement.
- Build strong relationships with project teams and key stakeholders.

About You You're a practical HSEQ skilled who enjoys working alongside operational teams and influencing safe, effective project delivery.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Experience in construction, civil infrastructure, mining or other high-risk industries.
- Strong field-based HSEQ experience supporting operational project teams.
- Knowledge of safety, environmental and quality management systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to work autonomously.
- The flexibility and willingness to travel regularly to project sites across Australia.

Highly Regarded
- Experience supporting geotechnical construction, rope access or difficult-access projects.
- Experience working within live operational environments or complex infrastructure projects.
