About the Role

Due to continued growth, the business is seeking a Senior Estimator with a genuine pathway into a Head of Estimating position.

You will have the autonomy to shape estimating processes, influence strategy and take ownership of outcomes while remaining actively involved in tendering and project opportunities.

This is a key appointment within the business, providing the opportunity to lead estimating practices, mentor others and contribute directly to the future direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end estimating process across a range of commercial construction projects
- Prepare accurate and competitive tenders from initial review through to submission
- Review project documentation, drawings and specifications
- Develop cost plans, quantities and subcontractor packages




- Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing
- Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to support tender submissions
- Work collaboratively with project teams, construction management and leadership
- Improve estimating processes, systems and methodologies
- Mentor and provide guidance within the estimating team (Head of Estimating pathway)

About You:

You will be an experienced estimator with a strong background within commercial construction and the ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships across the business.

You will ideally have:

- Strong technical and structural construction knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and competing priorities
- Experience across projects such as education, commercial, heritage, remediation or complex refurbishments
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally

For candidates interested in the Head of Estimating pathway, previous experience leading, mentoring or developing estimators would be highly regarded.
