We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Dudley Park Primary School (PS) was opened in 1976 and is set is amongst the Tuart trees in the heart of Mandurah. We are a Positive Behaviour School (PBS) and offer a broad curriculum for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our four Expectations for Success: Safe, Friendly, Respect and Achieve have been developed in partnership with students and families and they guide all that we do at our school. We support the development of younger children in the community through the Dudley Park Child and Parent Centre. Students at Dudley Park PS come from a variety of social and cultural backgrounds. We are extremely proud of the indigenous heritage of our community. Our community serves approximately 378 students, with 20% being Aboriginal, and an increasing enrolment of students whose first language is not English.

The Role
To be suitable for this role you will ideally have a good attention to detail and take pride in your work. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to work alone is an desirable component of this role. You will ideally be organised, reliable and punctual and have a valuable knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices. You will ideally assist the cleaning team as they strive to keep the school environment clean and safe in accordance with Department procedures under direction of the Cleaner-in-charge.
As a cleaner you will carry out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning,
furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning. In addition, you will also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs and other general cleaning duties.
During vacation times, you will also undertake the stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, shampooing of carpets, pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas, and other such duties as required by the Cleaner-In-Charge.
