About the role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive People & Culture Senior Advisor to join our national People & Culture team.
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will partner closely with Partners and leaders across designated divisions, providing trusted advice and support across the full employee lifecycle.
This is a true generalist role that combines business partnering with hands-on delivery. You will play a key role in attracting, recruiting, developing, engaging and retaining outstanding people, while also supporting leaders with practical and commercially focused people advice.
You will be responsible for your own client groups and will have the opportunity to influence workforce planning, recruitment, early careers, employee development, engagement, performance and broader people initiatives that contribute directly to the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Business partnering
- Build strong and trusted relationships with Partners, Directors and leaders across designated divisions
- Provide practical and commercially focused advice on employee relations, performance,
development and broader people matters
- Support leaders to build high-performing, engaged and accountable teams
- Partner with divisional leadership to identify people trends, risks and opportunities
- Coach and support leaders to manage people matters confidently and consistently
Recruitment and talent acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for designated divisions, including workforce planning, role briefing, advertising, sourcing, interviewing and offer management
- Partner with hiring managers to attract and secure high-quality talent
- Support the development of talent pipelines to meet current and future workforce needs
- Ensure a positive and skilled candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Early careers
- Play an active role in the firm’s graduate and undergraduate recruitment programs
- Coordinate and participate in careers fairs, networking events, assessment activities and interview processes
- Support the onboarding, development and engagement of early career talent
- Partner with divisional leaders to help build a strong pipeline of future talent for the firm
Employee lifecycle
- Oversee probation reviews, annual performance reviews and development planning processes
- Support performance management and conduct matters, providing clear advice and coaching to leaders
- Facilitate talent and succession discussions and identify development opportunities across client groups
- Partner with leaders to drive employee engagement, retention and career development outcomes
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse trends to identify improvement opportunities
Projects and continuous improvement
- Contribute to firm-wide People & Culture projects and strategic initiatives
- Support the implementation of People & Culture programs, frameworks and processes
- Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and enhance operational effectiveness
- Represent People & Culture at internal events, committees and leadership forums
Reporting and compliance
- Analyse people data and provide insights to support business decision-making
- Prepare and interpret divisional workforce reports and dashboards
- Draft and review employment contracts and people-related correspondence
- Support firm-wide adherence to employment legislation, National Employment Standards, firm policies and People & Culture processes
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
- Previous experience in a Human Resources or People & Culture advisory/business partnering role
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes
- Experience supporting graduate, undergraduate or early careers recruitment programs will be highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong coaching and problem-solving skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance people outcomes and business needs
- Confidence interpreting people data and translating insights into meaningful actions
- Professional services experience will be highly regarded
