- Undertake minor building maintenance and repair tasks around the lead smelter facility.
- Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs on fixed plant and heavy mining equipment.
- Develop, maintain and update detailed construction programs and master schedules.
- Integrate scheduling with reporting, cost control and broader project controls functions.
- Review daily maintenance expenditures, identify cost leakage and report findings.
- Operate heavy mining equipment and plant safely to maximise productivity.
- Perform routine operational checks, inspections and maintenance across plant.
- Provide technical guidance and consultation on welding, pipework, pumps, tanks, pressure equipment and related asset assessments.
- Responsible for all mechanical systems on the drilling rig.
- Operate production equipment to optimise efficiency and meet production nominations.
- Lead the design and governance of Indigenous employment and DEI initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a similar water infrastructure, mining or bulk handling role.
- High level of practical, field‑based knowledge of fixed water infrastructure.
- Trade qualification or equivalent practical experience relevant to water management or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of planning and scheduling experience; experience with Primavera P6 beneficial.
- Strong safety‑first mindset with experience adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.
