My client is a leading commercial and workplace consultancy with a rich 30-year legacy of delivering exceptional strategy, design, and construction projects across Australia and New Zealand.
Redefining the traditional workplace design and build process, my client offers an integrated, end-to-end model that gives clients a tailored, seamless experience from initial strategy through to completion.
Due to ongoing growth, my client is seeking a passionate Mid-Level Interior Designer to join their collaborative design team in Adelaide.
In this role, you will play a key part in designing and delivering innovative commercial spaces - working autonomously while stepping up to lead smaller projects and client interactions. About The Role:

Key Responsibilities: Working closely with senior designers, project managers, and estimating teams, you will support and execute design projects from initial concept through to construction:
- Design & Documentation: Develop functional and aesthetically striking commercial designs using Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite. Produce full construction documentation sets and specification packages.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
Attend client meetings, run briefing sessions, deliver design presentations, and maintain robust supplier and subcontractor relationships.
- Material & Finishes Selection: Specify materials, finishes, and furniture aligned with client briefs, budget parameters, and sustainability standards (Greenstar, WELL, NABERS).
- Site & Build Oversight: Conduct site measures, furniture audits, and site visits to oversee design implementation, address buildability issues, and ensure high-quality control.
- Collaborative Culture: Work alongside sales, estimating, and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with design intent.
About You:
- Experience: 3 - 6 years of commercial/workplace interior design experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong Revit proficiency and experience producing technical documentation, models, and visual presentations.
- Design & Sustainability: Creative design thinking with knowledge of sustainable practices and current workplace trends.
- Technical & Compliance Knowledge: Good understanding of local building codes, compliance, construction methods, and technical drawings.
- Communication & Drive: High confidence taking client briefs, presenting design narratives, and working collaboratively in a team environment.
