About the role: Working amidst the team and directly with local and international clients, the role has a broad remit including, but not limited to:

Preparation of the month-end close process working closely with seniors and management

Utilising cloud technology to drive process improvements both internally and externally, ideally have experience with Xero

Client-facing, as the day-to-day contact with clients in relation to: Oversight of accounts payable and processing of supplier payment runs

Preparation of accounts receivable invoices

Preparation of payroll tax lodgements and reconciliations

Preparation and lodgement of monthly/quarterly business and instalment activity statements

Assist in the supervision and training of junior staff

About you: Have completed bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance.

Have completed or in the looking to complete CA, CPA or Equivalent Qualified Experience in management accounting





Ideally have experience with a professional services in accounting and tax / outsourcing ideally from a local top or mid-tier firm.

Experience with Xero, NetSuite or other cloud accounting software would be beneficial.

Knowledge & experience with tax compliance requirements for GST, WHT and ongoing tax office lodgements

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent organisation & time management skills

Excellent relationship management, teamwork, and collaboration skills

Strong numerical and IT skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to learn.
