Your new role An chance has arisen for an experienced Internal Communications Lead to join a large and complex organisation on an initial six-month contract.

Working as a trusted communications partner, you will lead the delivery of internal communications strategies that keep employees informed, engaged and connected to organisational priorities. Managing one direct report, you will oversee key internal communication channels, including the intranet, SharePoint and employee communications platforms, while supporting engagement initiatives across a broad range of business areas. Working closely with leaders, Human Resources, communications professionals and other corporate stakeholders, you will provide strategic advice and develop and implement communication solutions that support organisational objectives, including staff engagement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed - Demonstrated experience delivering developed internal communications strategies and plans

- Strong experience partnering with stakeholders at all levels across a large and complex organisation
- Previous experience managing SharePoint-based intranets and internal communication channels
- Experience with EDMs, employee communications and channel governance
- Strong understanding of communication analytics,



reporting and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging content
- Experience supporting staff engagement, recognition and organisational change initiatives
- Exceptional written communication, editing and content development skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and provide trusted communications advice
- Experience working within not-for-profit, health, research, education or similarly complex environments will be highly regarded
- Previous people leadership experience, including managing direct reports
- Availability to commence immediately and commit to the duration of the contract
