We are a leading ICT Consultancy based in Perth. Due to upcoming project work we are looking to bring on an experienced ICT Project Manager with previous experience in Cyber Security projects and the WA government sector. This is an initial 12-month contract with a further 12-month extension.

The project will focus on the review of current software security and vulnerabilities and manage the recommended security changes and maturity of the cyber security policies for one of our key government clients. Strong focus on meeting Essential 8 accreditation levels.

Ideally, we are looking for an experienced PM who has a good track record working within the government sector and ideally has previous project experience in the cyber security space

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strategic oversight of current and emerging security requirements;
- Provide a clear path of escalation to a governing body with appropriate knowledge to make priority determinations and sound investment choices;
- Increase focus on delivery and transparency with progress;
- Develop and implement efficient reporting on security related matters;
- Improve maturity and compliance with the WA Government Cyber Security Policy.
- Manage the project delivery including all related project reporting including: schedule, project goals, scope, status and reporting,




- Manage and give direction to the technical project team (Cyber Security Analysts, BA's and Support)
- Full stakeholder management
- Identifying and supporting business process change

Background & Experience:

- Proven track record as a PM within the government sector
- Ideally some previous business system security project experience
- Ideally Prince2 Practitioner certified
- Exposure to both Agile and Waterfall project methodology
- Must have integrity be ethical and professional at all times.
