The Fulfilment Centre

Operations team keeps products moving efficiently from warehouse to customer. Operating across Inventory, Inbound, Outbound and Marketplace, the team relies on advanced automation—including conveyors, automated storage systems and autonomous mobile robots—to deliver fast, reliable service. We're looking for a Junior Maintenance Technician to join the Fulfilment Centre team on a rotating roster across day and shift work.

In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain automated equipment, respond to breakdowns, complete preventative maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives that keep warehouse operations running safely and efficiently. About the Role

Perform planned preventative maintenance on conveyors, robots, sorters and packing equipment.

Respond to equipment faults, complete initial diagnostics and carry out authorised repairs.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and automated equipment issues.

Assist with repairs involving PLC/HMI systems, VFDs, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical components.

Escalate complex equipment issues to specialist partners and internal teams when required.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and documentation within the CMMS.

Help maximise equipment reliability by supporting uptime, MTTR and MTBF targets.

Manage spare parts, tools and maintenance materials to minimise downtime.

Partner with Automation Engineers to investigate root causes and improve equipment reliability.

Coordinate maintenance activities with warehouse operations to reduce disruption.

Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen, 5S and TPM.





Identify practical opportunities to improve equipment performance and maintenance processes.

What It

Takes

Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills.

A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Knowledge of safe isolation procedures is desirable.

Trade qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or industrial maintenance is preferred.

Exposure to industrial maintenance, warehouse automation or manufacturing environments is advantageous.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings is preferred.

Understanding of safe work practices, PPE and permit-to-work systems.

Experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is desirable.

Basic Microsoft Office skills.
