Qualifications & experience
- 5 + years’ experience in the Landscaping industry
- Cert III in Landscape Trade desirable or similar qualification
- Good knowledge in landscape construction
- Have operated effectively heavy landscape construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, track dumpers etc
- Have run decent sized and complex jobs (preferably both hardscape and softscape, including residential, parks, gardens, tree planting etc)
- Detailed understanding of landscaping processes
- Great time management and communication skills to ensure that deadlines are met
- The ability to adhere to company WH&S; policies ensuring a protected and productive workplace
- Diligent and consisent in completing all WHS, quality and environmental paperwork
- A desire to be part of a team that provides a high quality service to our clients
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence
- MR licence desirable (or willing to get one)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Regularly liaising with our Landscape Construction Management team
- Run jobs up to $1M in value, usually over a 1 to 3 month period
- Liaise with our clients from commercial to government (federal, state and local council)
- Follow BOQs passed on by Landscape Construction Management team
- Order materials from suppliers taking in to consideration the lead times
- Assess timelines for a project prior to commencement, then regularly review progress
- Management of all staff and resources on site
- Completion of associated documentation on regular basis
