About the role

Burly Holdings Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and passionate Landscape Gardener to join our growing team in Caboolture, QLD. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your horticultural expertise and creativity in delivering and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. As a Landscape Gardener, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality landscaping projects that enhance commercial projects, contributing directly to public satisfaction and the reputation of our business.

What you'll be doing

1. Deliver landscape projects tailored to client needs, specifications and budgets
2. Prepare and maintain garden beds, lawns, and green spaces using appropriate horticultural techniques
3. Plant trees, shrubs, flowers and other vegetation, ensuring proper placement and care
4. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools in a safe and skilled manner
5. Provide grounds maintenance services including lawn mowing, pruning, weeding and mulching
6. Install and construct hardscape features such as pathways, borders, edging and garden structures
7. Advise clients on plant selection, seasonal care and landscape maintenance best practices
8. Ensure all work sites are kept clean, safe and compliant with relevant health and safety regulations
9. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
10. Monitor plant health and address any pest or disease issues promptly

What we're looking for

1. A qualification or formal training in landscape gardening, horticulture or a related field
2. Proven experience working as a Landscape Gardener or in a similar landscaping role for at least 2-3 years
3. Strong knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs and flowers suited to the Queensland climate
4. Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws and hand tools
5. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret landscape designs and plans
6.



Excellent physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
7. A current, valid driver's licence and reliable transport
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
9. Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team
10. A genuine passion for gardening, plants and creating beautiful outdoor environments
11. Relevant certifications are highly desirable
