We represent a leading Australian commercial law firm.

They are currently looking for a Lawyer to join the Environment & Planning team in their Brisbane office.

Environment & Planning The Environment & Planning team at this major commercial law firm comprises a discipline of top tier lawyers across all their offices.

With a strong national practice, the team advises on all aspects of environment and planning law from major infrastructure projects, through to ecologically sustainable development, contamination and remediation, water, energy & resources and planning issues.

The team regularly acts for for a range of major corporations and government clients and is widely-regarded as a leading practice.

Position Description

You will work closely with four partners who are consistently regarded as leaders in their field and genuinely great to work for - yet also have exposure to the wider team nationally.

The type of work you will be involved in will include:

- environmental impact assessments
- remediation and development of contaminated land




- development approvals
- risk management
- planning appeals
- regulatory approvals or licences
- development of town planning schemes.

It is a collaborative and friendly team.

Requirements The successful applicants will have 18 months to 4 years' post admission legal experience.

You will have experience in environment and planning law.

In addition, you will have:

- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as people skills
- robust attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.
