The Opportunity

Role A new opportunity has been created for a trade qualified Leading Hand to join our team based at Murrin Murrin. Working a day shift on an 8/6 FIFO roster, this permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company.

In this role you will: Lead a team of Site Technicians to meet, deliver and exceed service expectations

Drive efficiency within the team to meet tight deadlines whilst ensuring employees comply with all WHS responsibilities and that a safety first culture is a consistent behaviour within the department

Liaise with technical support staff and coordinating diagnostic, maintenance and repairs as a valued team member

Perform maintenance servicing and repairs on a wide range of quality Hitachi mining equipment

Undertake fault finding and diagnostic work

Attend to onsite breakdowns To Be Successful In This Role You Will Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else

Have previous experience leading a team to achieve and exceed set goals

Demonstrated work experience and technical knowledge within a mine site is essential

Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) mobile plant trade qualifications





Have positive communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long term relationships

Have the ability to navigate complex technical issues to deliver high quality outcomes in repair and maintenance services with minimal to zero rework

Excellent technical knowledge of Hitachi mining equipment would be highly advantageous Benefits What's in it for you?
