The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a full-time legal secretary to join our corporate team based in Melbourne. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to get involved in interesting work within a vibrant, collaborative and friendly environment.
Supporting a partner and a small team of corporate lawyers that have specific focus on law within the health industry, this role will provide a range of secretarial support to the practice area and form a crucial part of the everyday operations of this highly successful team.
What does the role involve?
- Administrative support to partners and staff in the practice group.
- Managing confidential firm information and opening new matters.
- Inputting and maintaining client data into client relationship software.
- Assisting with client queries; and
- Managing the monthly billing process.
About you The ideal candidate is likely to have 5 years' experience in a busy administrative role, preferably from within a corporate environment.
You would be a self-starter who works efficiently, uses your initiative and has exemplary attention to detail.
You are highly organised and proactive in your approach to tasks and take a genuine interest in the work performed by the practice.
Robust Microsoft Office skills are essential, as are excellent communication skills.
You will also need to have the ability to learn and use automated billing systems and client relationship management software programs (Elite 3E and InterAction).
