Focus Hearing

Central Coast Council

Focus Hearing is seeking a passionate and qualified Audiologist to join our growing team at our Erina clinic.

For over 10 years, Focus Hearing has proudly provided hearing healthcare services to the Central Coast community. As an independent clinic, we are committed to delivering Best Practice Audiology and exceptional patient‑centred care. We pride ourselves on providing ethical, evidence‑based hearing healthcare where clinical outcomes and patient wellbeing always come first.

At Focus Hearing, we believe success is measured by positive patient outcomes and long‑term relationships — not sales targets or KPI‑driven consultations. We are looking for an Audiologist who shares our values of integrity, compassion, professionalism, and personalised care.

The role is either full time or 4 days.

About the Role

You will provide a broad range of audiological services including:

- Comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments
- Hearing aid fitting, programming, verification, and rehabilitation
- Patient counselling and education
- Hearing aid troubleshooting and maintenance
- Clinical reporting and documentation
- Building strong referral and patient relationships
- Delivering exceptional customer service aligned with Best Practice Audiology principles
- Experience in earwax removal via microsuction would be highly regarded. However, if you do not currently have experience in this area, training will be provided, as microsuction forms an essential part of the role.

The successful applicant will be supported by a full‑time receptionist, allowing you to focus on delivering high‑quality clinical care. At the same time, we are seeking someone who is confident working autonomously, demonstrates initiative,

and can effectively manage their clinical responsibilities independently.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A recognised qualification in Audiology
- Current full membership (or eligibility) with Audiology Australia or Australian College of Audiology
- A strong commitment to ethical and evidence‑based hearing care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, patient‑focused approach
- Strong organisational and clinical skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Confidence managing appointments and clinical workflows autonomously
- Current eligibility to work in Australia

What We Offer

- A supportive and professional team culture
- A clinic genuinely committed to Best Practice Audiology
- Freedom to choose best possible hearing aid technology for the patient from the major manufacturers
- Freedom to focus on patient care rather than KPI targets
- Modern facilities and technology
- Opportunities for professional development and clinical growth
- Training and support in earwax microsuction procedures
- Administrative support from a full‑time receptionist
- Flexible part‑time working arrangements
- Potential progression to a full‑time position as demand increases
- The prospect to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives every day

How to Apply

If you are passionate about delivering exceptional hearing healthcare and would like to join a respected independent clinic that has cared for the Central Coast community for over a decade, we would love to hear from you.

Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your experience and availability.
