My client is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join a major enterprise project supporting the migration from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya 4 on Microsoft Azure. You'll play a role in building, administering and supporting the SAS platform, automating deployments through Dev SecOps pipelines, and ensuring a secure, highly available cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the migration from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya 4
- Install, configure, administer and upgrade SAS Viya environments
- Deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Build and maintain CI/CD and Dev SecOps pipelines using Terraform, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions and Bit Bucket
- Troubleshoot issues across application, Kubernetes and infrastructure layers
- Integrate SAS with Snowflake and other enterprise systems
- Ensure platform security, governance and compliance

Required Skills

- Solid experience with SAS Viya 4 and SAS 9.4




- Previous experience migrating from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya 4
- Azure cloud and AKS experience
- Kubernetes and Linux administration
- Terraform, Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline experience
- Experience with Snowflake
- Knowledge of identity management (Entra ID, LDAP, SAML/OIDC, RBAC)
- Experience working in large enterprise environments using Agile methodologies
