The purpose of the role of a Registered Nurse within Intensive Care is to ensure the clinical care of patients is provided in a person‑centred manner, consistent with the philosophy, mission and values of St Vincent’s Health Australia. A Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all patient care delivered is within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse and adheres to the policies and procedures of the Mater Hospital and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within an Intensive Care Unit
- Excellent knowledge and skills in managing and responding to deteriorating patients
- Ability to clinically manage one’s self and others when required to create a transformational leadership environment
