Permanent full-time role working a 9-day Fortnight roster About Your Role QAL’s centralised hydrocarbon team is seeking a Lubrication Technician to work within the Maintenance team. Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Hydrocarbon, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by: Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures

Performing lubrication maintenance activities to the standards required on a wide range of assets across the refinery

Managing assigned work schedules, confirm work order operations, raise notifications, order parts, and modify work orders when required

Supporting the hydrocarbon program by collecting oil samples for analysis, particle count and wear particle analysis

Supporting the hydrocarbon team in solving oil-related problems on critical plant assets and recommending and implementing improvements

Understanding the criticality of our assets and act proactively to support asset integrity and equipment availability What You Will Bring To be successfully considered for this role, you should have: Demonstrated commitment to your safety and the safety of your team

Competent in the use of basic tools necessary for the work involved

Willingness to learn and be customer focussed





Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

Ability to work well in a team environment

Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task as required
