About the Role

As part of our ongoing growth, we're excited to offer a new created opportunity for a qualified Maintenance Coordinator to join the Maintenance Team at our Merbein Packaging Winery.

Reporting to the Packaging Maintenance Manager this role is key in ensuring our products are packaged to the highest standards, supporting efficient operations across our production lines. Leading daily maintenance operations across the Merbein Packaging Winery, the successful candidate will support operational performance by ensuring the execution of:

- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing daily direction, planning work activities, task allocation and performance feedback.

- Delivering on the job coaching to develop team technical skills and competency

- Plan and schedule daily maintenance activities to balance work orders, preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance demands while maximising productivity.





- Perform precision maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on packaging line equipment and winemaking systems

We are looking for

Trade Qualified: Minimum Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or related trade qualification

Experience: Minimum of 3-years in a maintenance fitter role, ideally in a FMCG, production, bottling or winery environment

Technical Skills: Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting, welding and fabrication, with a strong focus on safety.

Mechanical Aptitude: Strong problem-solving ability, high attention to detail, and a proactive approach to tasks

Communication & Teamwork: Clear communicator with a collaborative, self-motivated attitude and a commitment to our values - working together, being innovative, responsive, and empowered

Work Authorisation: Visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates who do not currently hold Australian work rights.

Other Requirements

- Current driver licence (essential)

- Forklift licence and EWP (desirable)

- A 38-hours 5 day per week. Willingness to work across various shifts, including occasional weekends or on-call support, as reasonably scheduled.
