This role contributes to responsible resource development by ensuring tenure processes are efficient, compliant and customer-focused, while supporting government priorities and community outcomes. you will lead a team to deliver tenure assessment and administration services aligned with legislation and departmental policy.
You will provide advice to senior leaders on applications, strategies and system improvements, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across government, industry and the community. Your work includes reviewing applications, resolving legislative issues, contributing to policy and process improvements, and representing the department in forums. You will also oversee team capability, performance and operational management, including workforce planning, financial oversight and training delivery.
Success in this role is demonstrated through strong leadership, sound decision-making and the ability to manage complex, competing priorities. You will build a capable and engaged team, deliver high-quality advice, and contribute to improved systems and practices that support transparent and productive tenure administration.
