- Location – Wollongong (NSW South Coast to Victorian border)
- Employment type – Temporary full‑time up to four years
- Salary – $102,936 pa – $113,579 pa plus superannuation contribution and annual leave loading

Your role
Make a real impact through technology. As an ICT Support Officer, you’ll deliver expert technical support across Wollongong, the South Coast and Victorian border region, helping staff stay connected and enabling the delivery of essential services to communities across NSW.
In this hands‑on role, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve a broad range of ICT issues, support infrastructure, devices and applications, and provide high‑quality customer service through onsite and remote support. You’ll work in a collaborative team environment while supporting diverse technologies across a large and dynamic organisation.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver Tier 3 technical support across a broad range of ICT systems, devices and services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure and maintain ICT equipment and end‑user technology solutions.
- Support user access management and ICT security processes.
- Monitor system performance and proactively minimise service disruptions.
- Provide on‑site and remote support to customers across multiple DCJ locations throughout the South Coast region.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and asset records.
- Work collaboratively with a large Field Services team located across metropolitan and regional NSW.
- Manage ICT storerooms and undertake regular travel to Sydney Metro and regional DCJ offices.
- Build robust customer relationships while delivering responsive, high‑quality technical support across a diverse environment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a customer‑focused ICT professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and delivering exceptional support in a dynamic environment.
You Will Bring
- Experience providing technical support across ICT infrastructure, systems and applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience with device deployment, user access management and ICT security practices.
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.
- Minimum 5 years of End User Computing (EUC) support experience, with the ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, deliver excellent customer service, travel to customer sites and escalated issues appropriately.
Please note: This role may require participation in an on‑call and/or after‑hours roster to support business‑critical services.
