Kelsian Group is seeking a Systems Compliance Specialist to join the Group People & Culture Team, on a 12-month fixed-term basis, with the possibility of extension.

The Systems Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and legislative compliance of payroll system data, through close collaboration with Payroll, People & Culture and industrial relations stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate Enterprise Agreement, Award and legislative requirements into agreed payroll system rules, calculations, test scenarios and data models.
- Ensure payroll systems data, configuration and business rules accurately reflect approved compliance requirements and interpretations.
- Test, validate, and maintain payroll data models to ensure correct pay outcomes across all employee cohorts and scenarios.
- Support system compliance testing following EA/Award changes or configuration updates, identifying discrepancies for resolution.
- Identify compliance risks within payroll systems and recommend improvements of corrective actions to mitigate risk.
- Support audits and reviews by providing evidence of system compliance and testing outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement opportunities by identifying opportunities to streamline compliance testing, validation and monitoring processes.

About You

This role would suit a detail-oriented professional who enjoys translating complex business requirements into system rules, data models and testing scenarios. You will be comfortable working with large datasets and validating payroll outcomes within a complex Enterprise Agreement and Award environment.

You Will Bring:

- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements such as Enterprise Agreements, Award and legislative requirements into system rules, calculations, test cases and data models.




- Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to develop data models to validate payroll outcomes against expected results and identify exceptions, anomalies and compliance risks.
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify data discrepancies, compliance risks, and root causes.
- Ability to clearly document compliance interpretations, system rules, and testing outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance matters to non-technical audiences.
