About the Role
As General Manager – Commercial Construction, you will establish the division from the ground up, win and deliver projects, and build the relationships, systems and team needed for long‑term success.
The role is suited to a proven commercial construction leader with experience across sectors such as commercial, industrial, government, defence, utilities or infrastructure‑related construction. Exposure to clients such as SA Water, SA Power Networks, defence contractors or major asset owners will be highly regarded.
Skills & Experience
- Significant commercial construction experience across one or more relevant sectors
- Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident – no sponsorship applications will be considered
- Strong business development capability, industry networks and the ability to win profitable work
- Sound commercial acumen across tendering, risk, cost control and margin management
- The credibility to engage with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and senior stakeholders
- Experience building or leading teams, systems and processes within a construction workplace
- Knowledge of contract administration, project governance, safety, quality and compliance requirements
- A hands‑on, proactive leadership style with the drive to build something new
- The required commercial construction licensing
