Technical Business Analyst – Digital Platforms & Integrations

- We're partnering with a leading Australian digital business undertaking a major transformation across its customer, data and advertising technology platforms.

Position

- As the Technical Business Analyst, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams and business stakeholders to define technical requirements, map system integrations and support the delivery of large-scale digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define solution designs and integration requirements.
- Produce functional and technical documentation including process flows, API requirements and data mapping.
- Facilitate workshops with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support API integration initiatives across multiple digital platforms.

Essential Skills

- Experience within retail, eCommerce, digital media, advertising technology, martech or customer digital platforms.




- You'll be a Technical Business Analyst who is comfortable working with engineering teams and discussing technical concepts, whilst also having the communication skills to engage senior business stakeholders.
- You’ll ideally bring experience from highly digital environments where integrations, customer platforms and data play a significant role.
- 5+ years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
- Understanding of customer data platforms, digital ecosystems or advertising technology.
- Experience working across high-volume consumer-facing digital products.
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms and modern integration patterns.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures or microservices.
- Solid understanding of system integrations and API-driven architectures (RESTful APIs, JSON, web services).
- Experience producing technical requirements, functional specifications and data mapping documentation.
