Mechanical Commissioning Technician

Perth FIFO 8:6 & 2:1 Rosters, 12 hour days

$60 - $95/hr + Super on All Site Hours (depending on experience) + Travel

Our client is a well-established Australian engineering and automation contractor delivering electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and commissioning services across the mining, minerals processing and heavy industrial sectors. What will this position involve?

As part of the commissioning team, you'll play a key role in safely delivering mechanical commissioning activities from construction verification through to final handover.

Your duties will include

- Completing commissioning documentation and ITRs
- Construction verification, no-load and load commissioning
- Conducting function testing on motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors and associated fixed plant equipment
- Identifying faults and supporting troubleshooting activities
- Updating commissioning mark-ups and redline drawings

What do you need to be successful?

To be successful, you will have:

- Current LVR/CPR
- WA White Card
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Minimum 12 months' commissioning experience within mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
