About the Role As a Mechanical Fitter on the Crushing Maintenance Crew, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fixed plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient crushing operations. Working within a collaborative maintenance team, you'll complete planned and breakdown maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on crushing plant equipment
- Maintain and repair crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and associated mechanical equipment




- Diagnose equipment faults and complete repairs to minimise plant downtime
- Complete inspections and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance
- Assist with shutdown planning and execution as required
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately using site maintenance systems
- Work safely in accordance with site procedures, risk assessments, and isolation requirements
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment

To Be Successful You Will Have

- Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Current Confined Space Entry (within 2 years)
- Current Working at Heights (within 2 years)
- Demonstrated experience maintaining fixed plant equipment within mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Highly Regarded

- High Risk Work Licence (Forklift, Dogging, or Rigging)
