We’re opening a brand-new specialist centre in Marrickville, and we’re looking for a Medical Receptionist to help us get it right from day one.

This is part of Childrens Health Hub/Gutopia — a growing group of specialist paediatric and adult gastroenterologists . You’ll be the first face and voice patients and families meet, so we need someone warm, organised, and genuinely good with people.

What you’ll be doing

- Greeting patients and managing a busy reception desk
- Answering and triaging phone calls
- Booking and managing appointments across multiple clinicians
- Processing payments and basic billing (Medicare, private billing)
- Keeping the day running smoothly for our specialists and their patients
- General admin support as the centre gets up and running

What we’re looking for





- Previous experience in a medical or allied health reception role (specialist practice experience highly regarded)
- Comfortable with practice management software (we use Clinic to Cloud) — happy to train the right person
- Calm under pressure, well-presented, and a genuinely friendly manner
- Robust attention to detail, especially with billing and patient records
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Salary - $30–$35 per hour
