Our Mareeba Rural Branch is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor, with a strong rural industry background to lead our warehouse team. This hands‑on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced setting, leading a team by example, and delivering exceptional service to our farming customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain rural store front and ensures availability of merchandise
- Ensure stock is ordered, stored, and sold in line with requirements
- Correctly display product in store in line with marketing requirements
- Schedule and assign tasks to employees working in the shop
- Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal and legislative requirements
- Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers
- Protect employees and customers by maintaining a clean and safe store environment
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in a supervisory role ideally in a Warehouse environment
- Inventory management
- Sales experience within the Rural Sector
- Ability to motivate, mentor and develop team members
- Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to manage staff effectively
- Prior experience with loading and unloading of freight, ideally perishable goods
- Excellent planning & organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Flexibility, resilience with the ability to work with ever changing priorities
- Solid computer skills
- Well-developed communication skills
- Current & valid Forklift licence
