About The Role & Mandatory Requirements

About You
- - Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and enrolment in a Master of Nurse Practitioner program, or eligibility to work as a Nurse Practitioner Candidate.
- A minimum of five years' current post-registration clinical experience in medical oncology, including evidence of 2 years advanced practice in oncology nursing.
- Well-developed clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills in complex care environments.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- A sound understanding of the Nurse Practitioner model of care and how it integrates within an Oncology Day Unit setting.
- Engagement in evidence‑based practice, quality improvement, education, research, or service development activities.
- Emerging clinical leadership capability and the ability to positively influence practice and patient outcomes.
