About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) team on a casual basis. As an OSHC Educator, you will work under general supervision to support the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate programs for children in a safe, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating OSHC and Vacation Care programs.
Support children’s inclusion, wellbeing, and daily routines, including personal care where required.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and the National Quality Framework.
Maintain accurate records and assist with general administration tasks.
Participate in team meetings, training,
and professional development activities.
About You
Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of Cardijn College.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with children and families.
Experience working with children, including those with additional needs (highly desirable).
Strong organisational skills and ability to follow instructions in diverse situations.
Good physical fitness to engage in active play and safely set up resources.
Demonstrated understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Essential Requirements
Certificate III in a relevant discipline or equivalent competencies.
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
Certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN).
Approved First Aid qualification (as per ACECQA requirements).
Ability to comply with Work Health & Safety obligations.
