Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Project Officerto join their team on a temporary contract, supporting a critical UKG implementation project leading up to go-live.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional with strong systems and project experience to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of a major payroll transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of UKG system configuration.
- Execute and document test cases across payroll and workforce management processes.
- Validate payroll rules, leave entitlements, award interpretation and workflow configurations.
- Identify, log and track defects through to resolution.
- Liaise with project teams, implementation partners and key business stakeholders.
- Perform regression testing following system changes and defect fixes.
- Validate employee data and system integrations.
- Assist with go-live readiness activities,
including cutover planning and testing sign-off.
- Provide support to end users during the implementation phase.
About You
- Demonstrated payroll experience, ideally within large or complex organisations.
- Previous involvement in payroll system implementations or upgrades.
- Experience with UKG, Kronos or similar workforce management/payroll systems highly regarded.
- Strong UAT, testing and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident communicator who can work collaboratively across project and operational teams.
- Available to commence immediately.
