About the company

Our client is a global medical device manufacturer with an established Australian presence. The recent launch of an innovative technology product is driving strong demand and rapid growth in their local operations.

About the opportunity

You will join a close-knit Quality team as an associate performing quality inspections on devices. Your work will directly protect the quality of a product that makes a genuine difference to end users’ daily lives, with a focus on key mechanical components. This is a full time, on-site role for 6 months.

Duties

- Perform incoming quality inspections
- Conduct inline production inspections




- Calibrate calipers and micrometers
- Interpret mechanical drawings
- Apply acceptance sampling standards
- Create measurement reports
- Raise non-conformance reports
- Communicate failure reports to suppliers

Skills and Experience

- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Hands-on calibration equipment experience
- Confident reading mechanical drawings
- Measurement and reporting experience
