What you will be doing
- Tutoring English and math to a group of 3 to 4 students per session
- Teaching students using the Kip McGrath methodology
- Tutoring students in a positive, caring manner to promote self-esteem and self-worth
- Using our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct lessons – saving you on prep time!
- Using your strong rapport-building skills to develop and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents
- Keeping an accurate record online of your students' progress and goals on a weekly basis
- Providing verbal and written feedback to parents
Your requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Teaching or Education (or similar)
- A current Working with Children Check
- A friendly, professional and personable manner
- A love for early literacy and a warm, encouraging teaching style
- Confident using computers and online learning platforms
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Organised, reliable, and committed to student success

Hours of work
We teach students after school on weekdays and Saturday morning.
- Monday – Thursday:
Lesson 1: 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm
Lesson 2: 4:55 pm to 5:55 pm
- Saturday:
Lesson 1: 8:30 am to 9:30 am
Lesson 2: 9:40 am to 10:40 am
